In the early 1980s, Lachowicz presented a series of photographs entitled Energy of the Fall, which includes this work. The artist analysed, in very broad philosophical and anthropological terms, the meaning of the word "fall." He restaged the fall visually over and over against, often taking physical part in the experiments.
