As Andrzej Sapija says in the catalogue of one of Natalia LL exhibitions, "the Artificial Photography series shows pictures impossible in reality, emphasising the artificiality of the photographic language. "Categorical statements from the sphere of post-consumption art (...) contain arguments that are also postulates, the most crucial of which is the thesis about the growing natural and visual complexity of art - its increasing `artificiality`, which goes as far as absolutising art and separating it from reality (...) The works of Natalia LL represent movement, a process of growing artificiality (...) Each successive stage of artificiality is necessary to legitimise and confirm the previous one - previous artificiality (...) It is a process of permanent condensation aimed at extracting the pure idea (it also involves visual artificiality) incorporating all the other notions and categories created before".
